Dead soft annealed seamless steel tubing is recommended for automotive
installations because it is more efficient (completely free of scale found in
regular pipe), faster to install, neater in appearance. (As an alternate, use
Schedule 80 iron pipe, with forged steel fittings.)

For air and water reel, and air motor manifold piping, use 1/2" galvanized
pipe or 1/2" copper tubing, or larger.

Use 5/8" O.D. .083" wall steel tubing (9761) for chassis grease installations
using 50:1 to 80:1 ratio pumps, and also with oil pumps, for pumping
distances up to 100 ft. and three reels.

Use 7/8" O.D. .095" wall steel tubing (9762) for chassis grease pumps and
with oil pumps for pumping distances up to 200 ft. and four reels. Where
distances are over 200 ft. or more reels are specified, cotact the factory for
recommendations.
